A very warm welcome to the BII website.The Chartered Insurance Institute is dedicated to promoting higher standards of competence and integrity through the provision of relevant qualifications for employees at all levels and across all sectors.
At a local level the primary objectives of the Belfast Insurance Institute are to assist our members:
- Achieve success in the CII qualifications by providing high quality locally based courses for both General Insurance and Financial Planning.
- Increase their level of professional expertise by offering providing a comprehensive range of relevant and topical CPD events.
- Obtain the necessary learning resources, facilities and support.
In short the role of the BII Council is to create every possible opportunity to allow our members to succeed in their career.
You will see from our calendar of events set out on this website the number of courses and CPD events that have already been arranged. Many other initiatives are in the pipeline and these will be announced as the year progresses.
I am very grateful to those members of the local institute who have volunteered to become members of Council this year. Through their efforts and the efforts of their predecessors the Belfast Insurance Institute has played a significant role in the success of many careers. I also wish to acknowledge the help provided by many other members who help out at the numerous exams and events throughout they year.
