This year my opening is not a normal one. I hope it’s informative but it’s a plea too.
Did you know that we are a small group, which organise, on a voluntary basis, our members’ sports, social, educational and charity events?
We run ourselves in a very modern professional way and the commitment is not onerous. Why am I telling you? We need your help so that we have new blood, ideas and succession plans. What would happen if we weren’t around I ask? It would be a loss to our business community and importantly local exams wouldn’t happen any more. So go please get involved.
The theme for this year is to do more for our members, especially “upping our game” when it comes to the quality and selection of lunch and learns.
