As President of the Insurance Institute of Exeter, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our new look website.  I hope that both members and non-members find the information included on the site useful and that it will help you up to date with what is happening within your local Institute. 

Within the site, you'll find details of the Council members and whom to contact about examinations, education, activities and general membership enquiries.  Details of our event programme for the coming year are also included and we look forward to seeing local members at these events throughout the year.

The Institute is an important aspect of our profession, both nationally and locally. The insurance industry is a knowledge based part of the UK economy and continued education and development is a critical component in our individual reputation and success, and to that of our chosen profession. I look forward to continuing our local institute’s commitment to supporting educational events and examinations locally by providing relevant lunchtime talks to support all of our continued professional development needs and to have successful and enjoyable social events that are an important balance for all of us. The continued endeavour of our local institute council is imperative and I am grateful for all of their time, support and guidance. It is our desire to have an accessible local institute that provides support to you. We’d be delighted to receive your thoughts and suggestions for events that you, as our membership, would welcome.
