I write to welcome you to the Harrow and Ealing Local Institute for my presidential year 2011/12.
This institute has over 350 members and as President, I am working on this year’s Programme of Events. In the current difficult times of recession and redundancy, we have focused our attention this year in particular on education. We are, however, always open to any new ideas or the requests of our members so if you would like a course or event to be included, please feel free to contact me.
We are very fortunate in Harrow and Ealing to have a very experienced and dedicated Council but are always looking for new council members to expand and enhance our existing structure. So if you are interested and would like to become more involved then please do not hesitate to contact me as you would be most welcome.
Finally, I look forward to meeting with you, our members, both new and familiar at the events throughout my year as President.
