Welcome to the Insurance Institute of Inverness, The Highlands & Islands website. We hope that you will find it both informative and beneficial. In terms of membership numbers, we are probably one of the smallest Chartered Insurance Institutes - yet we cover one of the largest geographical areas, an area similar in size to Belgium.

Our membership is widely dispersed across this region which makes communication all the more important. We are hoping that this website will give us the ability to not only communicate to our members more easily, but also to encourage feedback and persuade members to become more active in the running of the Council. The Institute relies on the dedication of our volunteers to survive, and the more help we receive the better the services will be for everybody.

We are always looking for members to become more involved and help out where they can, and encourage people thinking about joining to do so. We ask people to attend as many of our events as possible, and with some carrying CPD points we hope you will make it along!
