Welcome from Alistair Body
Welcome to the new Insurance Institute year 2012/2013. I’m hoping to meet as many as possible of you in my second year as Institute President during the forthcoming events this year.
The Council are busy putting together a full programme of events that will ensure you will have plenty of opportunities to network with your colleagues in the industry as well as earn those valuable CPD points. I am keen to ensure that your local Institute provides you with the support that you require. The Council will always try and anticipate your needs but without your ideas and support we can only do so much.
As usual we will be running the Stevenage Exam Centre so members can continue to take their exams locally.
The door is always open for new council members and you will be pleased to know that by becoming a council member the commitment is minimal and is very rewarding with the ability to directly influence the way the Council interacts with its members and the support it gives the local insurance community. If you are interested in becoming a member of the Council please do give me a call and I will happily talk through what it involves and how you can help.
