On behalf of the Insurance Institute of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our website. I look forward to meeting and networking with members during my term in office as President.
For navigation ease, the website format is like a brochure design to help you with finding local CII activities and to keep you informed on current council members.
2012 is a very significant year all round, not only is it the year the UK is hosting the Olympics, and Her Majesty celebrates her Diamond Jubilee but it is also is our Centenary since receiving Chartered status. I attended our most recent Quiz Night, organised by Past President Peter Locker, and this was a fantastic evening. I strongly recommend this event to all CII and PFS members as a very enjoyable social evening. We still have our five-a-side football tournament to come and of course the Annual dinner, themed ‘Our Chartered Centenary Dinner’.
I would like to remind all CII and PFS members of the importance of keeping your registration and contact details up to date on both the main CII website and also the PFS website; please note that the two sites are not interconnected as far as usernames and passwords are concerned. This way you can be sure of receiving all emails and communications that may be relevant to you.
I am a very approachable person so please do not hesitate to introduce yourself and increase those networking opportunities.
