Welcome to the website of the Insurance Institute Of Shropshire & Mid Wales.
We hope this will be a useful tool to enable all our members to keep up to date with the educational and social events on offer as well as provide non members with an insight into the work and activities of the institute.
We would encourage our members to contact us with comments and suggestions about your local institute along with any recommendations for changes or improvements you would like to see.
We are fortunate to have a good mix of both new and long serving committee members, details of whom can be found under the Council and Officers section of this website. If you would like to communicate with a specific member of the committee please use email in the first instance, or alternatively by post at the address shown on the Contact page.
Please be assured that your enquiry will receive our attention at the first available oppourtunity, but please be mindful that we are all volunteers with day jobs too! An instant response is not always possible.
We aim to provide regular educational and social events as well as continuing to provide a local examination centre for our members. For full details of events please see the 'programme' section of this website. - A hard copy of this is available upon request.
During the next 12 months we would like to see further involvement from our members in the financial services/life sector of the industry and would welcome any contact in this respect. In particular we would like to begin to offer educational/CPD events specifically for your needs. Please contact us with your ideas!
