IF1 Revision Day

AIG
Wednesday, 07 September 2016
9:15 am – 4:30 pm (UK time)

Bridget Smith DipCII, a CII Face-to-Face trainer will run this full day revision course

Passing your first exam and picking up good techniques for both studying and taking examinations are critically important if you wish to go on to pass the examinations you are taking and achieving your study aims. As such the Birmingham Insurance Institute are hosting a revision day for IF1 the first examination for the Certificate in Insurance examinations.

It is important that students should have read the study manual before they come along. The day is meant to iron out some of the difficulties they have and give guidance on exam skills. It will not be suitable for candidates who have no idea about the syllabus.

Study materials for the day will be sent out to attendees 2 to 3 weeks prior to the event. Attendees should also bring their current study manuals, pens, paper and calculators.

There will be a maximum of 12 attendees to ensure that those attending gain the maximum benefit from the day.

Course will enable you to:

  • Explore the syllabus in detail
  • Clarify areas of concern in the syllabus
  • Discover what the examiner is looking for
  • Discuss common mistakes and how to avoid them
  • Learn useful revision and exam techniques
