LinkedIn - Lifting the lid off what is possible Workshop

Overview:

This session will ‘Lift the lid off LinkedIn’, demonstrating what is
possible using the business-to-business social media platform. It will be aimed at
relative novices on LinkedIn. Attendees are welcome to bring their laptops to this session, and
we will ‘fix’ a few things around people’s profiles.

Learning Objectives:

• The importance of business networking and the benefits of LinkedIn
• The various levels of your network
• What your profile tells me and how to fix a few things
• The courtesies and etiquettes of LinkedIn
• The value of Recommendations and Endorsements
• The value of Status Updates & Publishing
• The power of Advanced Search

Time: 9.45am Registration; 10am Start; 12.30pm Sandwich lunch

Lectures are provided free of charge to CII/PFS members. A £15.00 charge is made for non-members attending the lecture payable at the time of booking (Please note: If payment is not made at the time of booking online, kindly advise in the special requirements box your method of payment, e.g. cheque to follow in post).

Proof of membership is required; kindly ensure you bring along your CII/PFS PIN for registration.
