Coleman Insurance Broker’s Annual Charity Golf Day

Coleman employees hosted their annual Charity Golf Day. In the last 12 years these golf days have raised in excess of £55,000 for local charities. This year’s event took place at Remedy Oak Golf Club, raising funds for Dorset based charity Mosaic which provides a pathway of support for bereaved children.

Mosaic is celebrating its 10th anniversary and in that time has supported in excess of 1,000 children and their families from all over Dorset. Employing 9 part- time staff, the charity also has a host of willing volunteers who get involved in different parts of the charity. Mosaic provides individual support for children and young people, family group support, activity days, social events, training for professionals and agencies working with children and young people and a residential weekend programme. www.mosaicfamilysupport.org.uk

Coleman Director Peter Moody advised, “We are thrilled to announce that our charity golf day has raised in excess of £5,000. It’s been another successful day at Remedy Oak and they’ve been fantastic hosts. Despite the slightly inclement weather we welcomed 22 teams to take part, enjoyed some excellent quality golf, raised a significant sum in a great atmosphere of good competitive golf and nice fellowship.”

Mosaic Events and Fundraising Manager Karen Hay enthused, “We are absolutely delighted to be the nominated charity of the year for Coleman Insurance Brokers. One of the director’s family received support from ourselves and so he found us through personal experience. The money raised today will fund an entire residential weekend programme for up to 25 children- that’s so fantastic!”
