Seminar Overview

Climate change is one of the largest existential threats we have as a human race and its impacts will be widespread and multifaceted. Supporting the transition to a low-carbon economy requires us all to take responsibility and this includes investors. Investors attune to this understand the opportunities that investing in the transition can create both for financial returns but also in making a positive environmental impact. Curbing carbon emissions and transforming the way we power our societies encompasses not only energy and transport but design and manufacturing across supply chains. This creates enormous growth potential for companies offering low-carbon products and services, and consequently opportunities for investors looking to capture the long-term structural growth opportunity.

Learning Objective

To understand the implications of the transition to a low-carbon economy and the opportunities it presents for investors.
