This is a valuable Protection session for all advisers who are required to undertake 15 hours of protection CPD per year in line with the IDD.

Income Protection as a product is massively undersold however there is a need for the vast majority of clients so why isn’t it taken up?

The aim of this session is to explore the reasons and factors that prevent Income Protection becoming a more main stream product, assisting you as Advisers in understanding the Income Protection provider market and product proposition so you can enhance your client offering and service.

The learning objectives are to:

  • Understand the barriers to selling more Income Protection to your clients
  • Define the Income protection proposition at both Individual and Group levels
  • Explain the key differences between Income Protection providers in the marketplace
  • Identify the general product features and benefits of permanent health plans
  • Demonstrate the new business underwriting and claims processes

The session will be facilitated by Jon Gratland, Chief Executive of Wiltshire Friendly Society Limited www.wiltshirefriendly.com.
