Insurance fraud investigations – Catch me if you can

The Insurance and Actuarial Society of Glasgow is happy to announce that their next CPD seminar will focus of insurance fraud investigations.

Learning objectives

By attending this event delegates will be able to identify:

1. The initial triggers which identify potential fraud in commercial property Insurance.
2. Evidence that may be found on a suspicious commercial property investigation.
3. What a successful fraud investigation looks like.

The seminar will be run by Brian McDonald ACII APCIP and Sarah Durkin BSc ACSS Cert CILA.

Brian has been with Cunningham Lindsey for 20 years as a Loss adjuster, investigator and manager. Brian has headed up the UK CL major Loss Investigation team for the last 7 years. Brian deals with larger commercial property claims as well as household and casualty losses.

Sarah has a wealth of investigation experience with HM Customs and Excise, Thames Valley Police, a forensic accountancy firm and significantly as Deputy senior Investigator with the Independent Police complaints commission. She now handles commercial property investigations throughout the UK specifically in the Scotland and Northern Ireland area.

The seminar will be followed by tea, coffee and a sandwich lunch.
