How to win friends and influence people

Wednesday, 08 February 2017
12:00 pm – 1:15 pm (UK time)
    • Adrian Nash, Managing Director, Radius 360

The Professional Development Group of the Insurance and Actuarial Society of Glasgow is happy to announce the date of their next CPD seminar.

The art of influencing people is a key skill for anyone wanting to get on in life let alone business. Join us as we learn to avoid commands and orders and instead learn how to persuade others without Jedi mind tricks. The lecture will also look at how to perceive someone is using persuasive tactics on you and how to react or adapt to them.

Learning objectives

By attending this seminar delegates will be able to identify:

  • How to do and say things that have the desired effect on other people
  • The signals when other people are attempting to influence you
  • How to use persuasive language in your literature and written communications.
