The future of our profession in Scotland / GDPR

The Insurance and Actuarial Society of Glasgow is happy to announce that they will be running an event in conjunction with PFS Central Scotland aimed at its chartered members and members interested in becoming chartered.


The event will focus on the future of the profession; looking at key changes and developments being introduced by Scottish Enterprise, the ABI and the Chartered Insurance Institute.


Learning objectives:
By attending this event delegates will be able to identify:


• Key regulation and compliance changes happening across the profession

• Key risks facing the profession

• How the market in Scotland will be shaped over the coming years due to investment

• Key changes post GDPR.


Speakers confirmed include:


Alastair Ross, Assistant Director, Head of Public Policy, Association of British Insurers (ABI)

Alastair will discuss the opportunities and risks facing the insurance industry from governments, regulators and social change.

Branko Bjelobaba FCII, Regulation and Compliance Consultant, Branko Ltd
Branko will be giving an update on GDPR.


After the presentations the floor will be opened for an informal Q&A session.
