Engineering Insurance
The Insurance Society of Inverness, the Islands and Highlands is happy to announce that their next CPD event will focus on Engineering insurance.
Learning objectives:
By attending this seminar members will be able to identify:
- Overview of Engineering covers are available
- What underwriting considerations for each cover should be considered
- Where claims arise in connection with engineering covers.
The presentation will be run by Alistair Cottle, Senior Trading Underwriter for Construction, Power and Engineering at Aviva.
Having worked as a broker for 10 years, Alistair switched his attention to underwriting where he believes he brings both perspectives to the table when considering risks and the possible implications to clients. He is actively engaged with the industry delivering education programs and this is reflected in his own exploits where he has MSc in Psychology, is an Associate with the CII and represents the Edinburgh Insurance Institute on the Education committee.
