The Ipswich Institute is hosting its first ever full day conference in September. The afternoon of which is applicable to PFS members and will include:

13.30 - 14.15	Ethical Hacking Steve McLaughlin, Steve Mac Media At the end of this session, delegates will be able to identify: the 7 key steps used by hackers, including a live demonstration hack technological defences professional exploitation
14.15 - 15.00	Data Protection Reform - How ready are you? Clare Edwards, Hill Dickinson LLP At the end of this session, delegates will be able to: identify some of the key changes due, and be able to apply those to their business recognise risk areas for their organisation appreciate some basic measures that can be used to mitigate against risk of data breaches
15.00 - 15.20	Refreshment Break
15.20 - 16.20	The Importance of Listening Richard Mullender, Former Hostage Negotiator At the end of this session, delegates will be able to: get information without asking questions listen with heightened awareness know what to listen for interpret the true significance of what’s being said test your understanding without offending the other person position a course of action as desirable using your prospect’s values and beliefs
