Update: The Grand Hotel has new car park access

Owing to ongoing traffic works in central Leicester, the Grand Hotel has new car park access for the forseeable future. Access is now via Chatham street and not Granby Street. Please see the attached map below for further details.

The dinner is widely recognised as the social highlight of the institute calendar and regularly attracts over 250 guests representing all areas of the insurance, risk and financial services industry.

Bars will open from 6.30pm for Dinner at 7.30pm.

Our Speaker

We're delighted to tell you that our after dinner speaker is Garry Richardson. A BBC broadcaster for over 30 years, Garry is best known as a sports presenter on a number of prestigious radio and television programmes. However, his big love is performing on the after dinner circuit.

His speeches consist of amazing anecdotes about his life in broadcasting, including his incredible interview with Bill Clinton in Wimbledon's Royal Box. Over the years, he has interviewed a galaxy of stars.

During the past year or so, Garry has spoken for the AA, Audi, British Airways, Coutts Bank, Tesco, KPMG, the Institute of Mechanical Engineers, IBM, various societies of chartered accountants, a number of insurance institutes, RBS, the Securities Institute, HSBC, Savills and the Institute of Directors, to name but a few.

How To Book

We welcome individual and group bookings of any number (maximum seating at round tables is 10). I do hope you will be able to show your support by attending.

The menu and drinks pre-order form are available to be downloaded below. Please note - you are required to arrange your drinks order directly with the Hotel.

A seating plan is also available. If you are booking for a group of people, please download and complete party names as soon as possible.
