Navigating Agricultural Insurance Choices

The presentation will focus on the differences between material damage based cover for farm risks and the alternative approach of protecting income streams using revenue cover.

One key area is to be able to identify where material damage cover may still be needed even if there is revenue cover in place. The length of indemnity period required for different risks, and how to set sums insured, will be explained.

There will be a short interactive workshop within the seminar to help confirm your understanding of the issues and solutions.

Learning objectives - be able to:

  • Identify the differences between material damage and revenue cover
  • Understand when material damage cover may still be needed even if revenue cover is in place
  • How to set sums assured in both cases and identify what indemnity periods may be required

Arrival at 12.15pm for a light lunch, with the talk beginning at 12.45pm, ending at 1.45pm.
