PFS Online Training - R01 Financial Services, Regulation and Ethics

The Personal Finance Society East Midlands Committee in association with the Insurance Institutes of Leicester and Nottingham have organised a series of ‘distance learning’ training day via an online and interactive conference video facility for those members who are studying for and taking the R01 to R05 examinations.

The cost of the day’s training will be £50 for PFS members and £60 for non-PFS members. Your attendance will be confirmed once you have booked online. There is a maximum of 12 attendees.

The day will commence at 09:30 sharp and finish by 16:30, with breaks timetabled for lunch etc throughout the day.

The training will be provided by Bespoke Training Solutions (BTS) a company who have been supporting candidates towards passing their Dip PFS exams since 2003. The workshops are designed to consolidate your learning and make sure you have a sound knowledge of the key subject areas , plus some question technique tips prior to your exam.

R01 Financial Services, Regulation and Ethics.

UK financial services industry

Legal concepts

Regulation of financial services

Regulatory principles and rules

Regulatory advice framework

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all face to face training organised by the committee has been suspended until further notice by HM Government and the PFS and CII centrally.

The trainers from BTS will be either:

Jeff Scholes PRINCE2 Practitioner or Luiza Todd FPFS Chartered Financial Planner

CII Accredited

7 hours' CPD can be claimed for this event if relevant to your learning and development needs.
