Annual Dinner
It is our pleasure to invite you to attend the Annual Dinner of the Lincoln Insurance Institute.
The venue is the Bentley Hotel, Newark Road, South Hykeham, Lincoln, LN6 9NH

Reception is 7:30 p.m. for Dinner at 8:00 p.m. Dress code is "Dinner Jacket/Evening Dress" and the cost is £40.00 per head.
Bar facilities are available until midnight and accommodation at the Hotel is available at a reduced rate of £76.00 (Single) or £86.00 (Double) inclusive of full English breakfast and use of the Leisure Club facilities during your stay.

Guest Speaker
This year we are pleased to welcome Brian Newbold as our Guest Speaker.
Brian was born and bred in Doncaster and educated at De La Salle College, Sheffield.
Upon telling the careers master that he had half a mind to work for the Coal Board he received the reply............
"That should be more than adequate."
During a life sentence as an engineer at British Coal, he developed a warped sense of humour and perfected the art of becoming invisible in the afternoon.
He is very well known on the circuit as "The Man from the Coal Board" and has entertained the full spectrum of organisations from The Royal Variety Club to The Institute of Funeral Directors!
He has shared the stage with Celebrities, Sportsmen and Members of Parliament (ranging from Status Quo, to Sir Bobby Robson, to Austen Mitchell!), and as well as hundreds of Golf Clubs, Sportsman's Dinners, and Corporate Dinners.
His work includes everything from Awards Ceremonies and Product Launches, to cabaret on Cruise Liners, to live commentary at Air Shows.
In his spare time Brian enjoys tinkering with cars and motorbikes and loves flying light aircraft, although he admits a near-fatal collision with power cables a few years ago did dampen his enthusiasm for a while!
An Irish Mother and a lifetime at British Coal have given Brian a unique sense of humour, which makes him the ideal man to round off our event with a laugh.
Tables are available seating up to a maximum of 12 people.

We will be holding a Raffle in aid of the "Insurance Charities". If you able to donate a prize in advance or on the evening, it would be much appreciated.
