Retired Members Buffet

It’s always fascinating to hear their stories and for our current council members to share how things have changed.

It’s also lovely to see the same faces return year after year, some still looking so spritely in their 80s. Attendees seemed to really enjoy themselves, although there is always an element of sadness is remembering those no longer with us.

Our current President Emma Lynch gave a heart warming speech to welcome everyone and provide an update on what the institute are up to at the moment. Peter Morris, one of our Retirees raised his glass and asked the room to thank Emma for her generous hospitality.

Many glasses of wine were drunk and the scouse went down so well we had to request seconds!

The institute would like to thank all those who attended and look forward to hosting another retired members event in 2020.
