From April this year the FCA granted the IFA community automatic permission to advise on P2P (a regulated activity since April 2014). As this is a relatively new asset class, this presentation from Octopus should expand your knowledge and understanding of this area.
With the launch of the new ‘Innovative Finance ISA’ and the granting of automatic permissions in this area of advice, it is clear that the FCA are encouraging activity in this asset class.

The target audience will be financial planners, paraplanners, investment professionals, accountants and legal professionals.

Learning Objectives
By the end of this event, delegates will be able to identify:
- whether to waive your permissions and exclude this from your advice process
- different types of lending in this area and how the new ‘Innovative Finance ISA’ rules could benefit your clients
- how you would approach this asset class
- options that may help you with future client enquiries, particularly as most of the providers in this space operate directly to the consumer.
