Introduction to Aviation Insurance

Summary

The aviation industry has unique and specialised requirements when it comes to insurance placements.

The purpose of this course is to get an understanding of the risks associated with this industry, and how insurance policies provide the cover.

The session will look at the covers available within the insurance market, underwriting questions and typical terms and conditions that can be expected to be found, before looking at emerging risks that the industry faces.

Speaker Bio

I have worked in the insurance industry for over 25 years in a variety of roles, including underwriting, broking and senior management positions in the UK and internationally. Alongside these market roles, I have been involved with various insurance educational bodies such as the Chartered Insurance Institute, and the Jamaican Board of Studies as an examiner and trainer.

During the last ten years I have been more focused on learning and development and enabling others to grow their knowledge. This has included one to one mentoring and coaching as well as larger group training, both face to face and virtually. I enjoy being able to produce and deliver bespoke training plans that can satisfy the specific development needs of both the company and employee.
