As the term ‘nervous shock’ falls out of favour, we reflect on the range of acquired psychiatric damage, forms of mental illness, neurosis and personality change and the situations in which these conditions become compensable.

Speaker’s Biography:
Jason has undertaken large loss, disease and regulatory work for nearly 35 tears. He specialises in disease claims, accruing a detailed knowledge of psychiatric assessment, substance and solvent addiction, medical rehabilitation and the attendant statutory and advisory body guidance. Jason is a member of FOIL and engages in industry debate. He has also been consulted by the DTI on group actions and schemes.
