Meeting point
Glow will start and finish in the event site at The Piazza, just outside of BBC Quay House in Salford’s Media City. Find us using postcode M50 2QH.
Route
There is one 4.5km route. Shine a light on dementia with a stroll around the banks of Salford Quays and Media City. Walk along the beautifully lit waterfront and let us show you some hidden gems. Please note the route and distance is subject to change, and suitable footwear is recommended.
Travel information
There is no dedicated event parking, but there are a number of city centre car parks within a short walking distance of the venue. There are Metrolink stops directly by the meeting point, and there are other public transport links with multiple bus stops nearby. Please consider the most sustainable method of transport, and car share where possible.

Accessibility
The meeting point is on level, paved ground. The route is on pavement and has ramp accessibility as well as steps, and is therefore suitable for wheelchairs. There is no dedicated accessible parking.
