GOING FOR GOLD
HALL OF FAME

The institute is about the members, and our members do some amazing things and we want to acknowledge that.  So let us know about your plans so we can cheer you on and ask everyone else for their support.

If you know of a member who is doing something or has done something in the recent past that we should acknowledge, then let us know and we'll make sure they are added to our "Local Hall of Fame!"

On 22nd April 2012 he took part in the London Marathon.

This was Dave's first full marathon and he finished in a fantastic time of just over 4 hours.

HOWARD DOVE

Howard Dove, Personal Lines Manager at Clarke Dove Insurance Brokers, has been very active over recent years and regularly runs marathons around the UK. He has completed 6 ½  marathons around Nottingham, London and Bath and has now taken on the challenge of the Great North Run, which he is running with his partner, Helen.

Howard is using the run to raise funds for the charity, Mind, which holds personal significance for him. He has himself overcome problems over the past few months and his full story can be found on the Just Giving web-site : http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/team/HelenandHowiegreatnorthrun

As a member of the local institute and someone prepared to make this kind of effort, let’s all wish him well and, if you can, please make a contribution to his chosen charity.

Well done, Howard.
