Your local institute council invites you to attend their 2024 Annual General Meeting in order to hear first-hand reports from council members on previous and future activities and vote on the appointment of new council members for the forthcoming year. Your council invites you to attend the 2024 Annual General Meeting of The Nottingham Insurance Institute. Hear first-hand reports from council members on previous and future activities and vote on the appointment of new council members. If you feel you could make a positive contribution, it is an ideal first step to becoming involved. This year members are invited to attend either in person or virtually via Teams. If you are not currently a Council Member and would like to come along, simply let us know by using the booking link and we will do the rest. Bookings will close on the 30th April 2024 to allow us sufficient time to provide all attendees with the relevant documentation ahead of the AGM. There are many links between the world of wine and a good strategy for diversity and inclusion in the workplace and society as a whole. Like labelling in society, people tend to make judgements about wines based on labels but in fact wine tasting requires us to notice characteristics and to reflect on our experience and this is exactly the same strategy that helps to encourage diversity and inclusion. By tasting 5 different wines, you will learn how to move beyond labels and relate this to diversity and inclusion both in the workplace and society as a whole.
