Environmental Impairment Liability

The Insurance Institute of Perth & Dundee is happy to announce that their next event will focus on the topic of environmental impairment liability.

Learning objectives
By attending this event members will be able to identify:

1. Statute and case law surrounding pollution incidents
2. Complications of pollution remediation
3. How policies respond in the event of a pollution incident.

The seminar will be delivered by Mike Marston of the OHES. Mike joined OHES in 2010, after spending 30 years as a loss adjuster. He has considerable experience of handling environmental damage claims under both property and liability policies. Before joining OHES Mike had set up and headed a UK wide team of adjusters trained to handle environmental damage claims for one of the country’s leading loss adjusting companies.

Using his experience and knowledge of insurance claims, Mike is responsible for maintaining and building business relationships with insurer and loss adjuster partners in order to provide them with an Environmental Claims Management (ECM) service which meets their exact needs.

Mike promotes the highly professional, friendly and proactive approach for which OHES is so well known.
