Learning Outcomes
| 1 | Understanding the need for business protection. The demographics of the market and the need for business protection products |
| 2 | Evaluate the risk areas that business protection products protect |
| 3 | Identify how to set up different types of business protection policies including tax implications and setting sums insured |
| 4 | Define the criteria for a relevant life plan and how these policies are structured in a tax efficient manner |
| 5 | Recognise the role of a businesses articles of association and shareholders or Partnership agreement when advising on insuring the shareholding in a business |
| 6 | Work through a set of business accounts to identify the protections needs and calculating cover for Key Person, Loan and Shareholder Protection. |
