Chestnut Tree House Volunteering Day
The Insurance Institute of Sussex is looking for volunteers who are prepared to give their time on Monday 25 June 2018 to help this very worthy charity undertake general maintenance, gardening and other tasks as required.
No special skills are required, just a willingness to get involved and help out where necessary in the Chestnut Tree House (CTH) hospice grounds.

Full joining instructions will be sent to those who join up, but a few key points to note are:

volunteers will be under the direct supervision of the Head Gardener and other staff at the hospice

please make sure you wear sensible footwear (trainers as a minimum) and bring your own lunch, drinks, sun protection, etc

if you have a pre-existing health condition, you are still very welcome to come along, but please make sure that you declare this to CTH staff so that only appropriate work is allocated to you

CTH will supply gardening gloves and any tools necessary, but you may bring your own if you wish
