Directors & Officers Liability
The Insurance Institute of Aberdeen is happy to announce that their next event will focus on Directors & Officers Liability along with Employment Practices Liability.
The seminar is designed to give delegates an overview of the exposures businesses face in this area, the role D&O/EPL insurance has to play in managing this risk and recent claims trends and legislation businesses should be aware of.
Learning objectives
By attending this event delegates will be able to identify:
- Directors duties and responsibilities including disqualification and other potential liabilities
- Evolution of D&O insurance / Scope of cover
- Where do claims come from? Recent D&O cases, claims and trends
- Employment Practices Liability - claims trends and the importance to your business.
The tutor will be Chris McMurray who is the Senior Financial Lines Underwriter for ACE European Group in Scotland. Chris has over 10 years' experience in this area with specialist markets who provide market leading products in the field of financial lines insurance, and has run numerous successful training days across the country on this topic in recent years.
