The Insurance Act 2015
The Insurance Institute of Aberdeen is happy to announce that their next CPD event will focus on The Insurance Act. This event qualifies for two hours structured learning CPD credit.
This seminar will refresh participants’ knowledge of the Act and the new obligations it imposes on the commercial insurance buyer. The session will be interactive and will include discussion based on actual experience post-12th August 2016.
Learning objectives
By attending this event delegates will be able to identify:
- A knowledge of the Insurance Act 2015.
- An understanding of their client’s obligations under the Act.
- A brokers obligations under the Act and the increased risks that are now attaching to the insurance broker.
The seminar will be delivered by Andrew Linnell of RWA Solutions. Andrew is a leading independent expert in the UK general insurance market, working with insurance brokers to achieve their personal and business goals, and with insurance companies to achieve their distribution and growth objectives in the broker distribution channel.
In addition to his work with RWA Solutions, Andrew is a non-executive director of Church of Scotland Insurance Services. He has previously held senior positions with Towergate, Folgate and Aviva.
