Overview:
Active listening and non-judgemental communication are superpowers for successful leaders. This session is aimed at anyone wishing to elevate their communication skills. The aim of the session is to help attendees to understand the benefits of active listening and non-judgemental communication, and how they can both be put into practice, to contribute to a psychologically safe and healthy workplace.
Learning Objectives:
Having attended this session, participants will be able to:
• Identify at least three practical active listening techniques to elevate their listening skills.
• Understand the benefits of active listening, how it can contribute to a safe and healthy workplace and how it might help them outside of work.
• Listen at a deeper level, and to communicate in a way that is supportive and non-judgemental.
• Understand evidence-based insights into the relationship between healthy communication, psychological safety, and employee wellbeing.
