Seminar - Introduction to LinkedIn

This morning seminar will be run by Nigel Cliffe of Value Exchange

This session is for anyone who has set-up a LinkedIn profile, visited the site when they receive an email and then wondered 'now what?' Examples and case studies are used throughout.

Learning objectives:

  • The types of LinkedIn accounts
  • The various levels of your network
  • How to build your basic profile
  • How to promote your LinkedIn profile
  • the importance of your headline
  • How to write a great summary
  • How to navigate your home page
  • How to add rich media to your profile
  • How to be in control of your privacy using the settings
  • The courtesies and etiquettes of LinkedIn
  • How to make connections and manage invitations
  • The value of status updates
  • How to measure the value of your investment
  • How to manage your time on LinkedIn
  • what you need to do next (your personal action plan)

Registration from 9am for 9.30am start; Lunch 12.30pm (Please indicate if required)

Lectures are provided free of charge to CII/PFS members. A £15.00 charge is made for non-members attending the lecture payable at the time of booking via PayPal. Proof of membership is required; kindly ensure you bring along your CII/PFS PIN for registration purposes on the day.
