Insurance Charities Awareness Week

Monday, 19 June 2017 – Friday, 23 June 2017

What is The Insurance Charities?

The Insurance Charities is the charity for the UK and Irish insurance industry, providing support for current and former insurance employees and their dependants since 1902.

What is Insurance Charities Awareness Week?

A national event to raise awareness of the charity and to let people know that they are there to help.

What should we do?

All we ask is that during this week you make a point of talking about the charity with your colleagues. You can contact marketing@theinsurancecharities.org.uk who will supply you with an Insurance Charity box to display in a communal area with information and small gifts for people to take.

Do we have to raise money?

No, but if it helps you talk about the charity within your place of work all donations are welcome.

For example, you may find it helpful and fun to have a cake sale or a raffle and this is a good way to get people talking about the charity.

Where can I go to for further information?

Visit the insurance charities website https://www.theinsurancecharities.org.uk/

or contact your local area representative joanne.Kirkby@ivesandtaylor.co.uk or 01204 552014.

We would really like to hear what you have done to raise awareness in your company, please contact Joanne to share your stories.
