Dorset Charities Conference

Ward Goodman’s Charities Conference 2019 will be held on 4th July at Bournemouth University (BU).

The largest charities forum in Dorset, it brings together over 150 charity and trust members, interested parties and specialist advisers from the firm, which has offices at Ferndown, Shaftesbury and Wareham.

Ian Rodd, Managing Director, Ward Goodman, said: “This is a firm fixture on our annual calendar and held to support, share knowledge, financial updates and best practice amongst all who work for a charity or organisation in an official capacity, or are thinking about future volunteer roles.”

Previous attendee, Helen Stevens, Dorset Rape Crisis, said: "Many thanks for another great conference this year. The range of topics and speakers was both relevant and interesting for all of us involved in charity work across Dorset. I found the day very inspiring and I am certainly planning on bringing a Trustee next year so that they can benefit from the expertise at this event".

Andrew Moore, Swanage Railway Trust, said about last year’s event: ‘The Dorset Charities Conference is a key date for all Dorset Charities. Trustees, Chief Executives, Fundraisers and Volunteers will find the speakers and networking opportunities invaluable’

The Dorset Charities Conference will take place on Thursday 4th July 2019, 10am to 4.00pm at Bournemouth University, Kimmeridge Building, Fern Barrow, Poole, Dorset BH12 5BB. Admission is £10 by advanced ticket only. Exhibitor spaces are available.
