Wine Tasting

The IIB's Social Events Committee invites members and non-members alike to attend the a wine tasting event which will be hosted at Averys Wine Merchants. As an award winning central venue, it will provide the ideal location for sampling some excellent wines and enjoying some delicious nibbles.

The venue is open from 17:30 for delegates to enjoy a drink or two after work and a spot of networking before the tasting begins promptly at 18:00. The IIB have reserved exclusive use of the cellars until 20:00. On arrival you will be treated to a glass of champagne, followed by wine tasting of 6 wines plus a further glass of wine to accompany your bread, cheese and pate. During the evening Averys will split the group into teams to guess the grape, country and price on 3 whites and 3 reds. The winning team will receive a bottle of wine EACH to take home.

£30 per person to include glass of champagne on arrival, tasting of six wines, buffet and competition entry
