Commercial Property Insurance - Clauses and conditions
This presentation, delivered by Alan Chandler, one of the most popular presenters in the UK, will go through all the main conditions and clauses that can be found in a Commercial Property wording, what is their purpose and when should they be included.

The presentation will also explore what happens if a broker fails to bring certain conditions to the attention of the policyholder and why underwriters need to think carefully about the clauses conditions they use.
The Supreme Court case over Covid-19 and coverage issues illustrated the importance of brokers, underwriters and claims staff being very clear about the clauses and conditions in wordings. There are many different wordings in the market place, and explaining coverage clearly to policyholders is where a broker can add significant value compared to direct offerings.

Target audience: brokers, underwriters, claims staff and loss adjusters, plus anyone taking the diploma subject M93 commercial property and Bi.
