The growth of renewables and the challenges for industry are an increasing demand on the expertise of the Insurance Market and its service providers, especially in respect to claims management and the preventative measures.

We look at evaluating some of the risks to better enable your understanding. We will focus on giving an introductory perspective to some of the faults experienced predominantly in Wind harnessed and Solar energy.

The session will be interactive with case studies and footage of scenes. We encourage questions and queries as they help everyone’s learning and understanding.

Learning Objectives

At the end of the session delegates will be able to demonstrate an understanding of:

  • international standards and local regulations needed to keep up with latest developments and advancements.
  • how risk can be minimised by good system design, component selection and installation practices.
