Matthew Wilson is a Senior Associate in Mills & Reeve’s Insurance Disputes team and is based in Norwich. He acts on professional negligence claims against a variety of professions, but particularly solicitors, insurance brokers, independent financial advisors. He joined Mills & Reeve as a trainee in 2006 and qualified in 2008.

Chris Brand joined Mills & Reeve in 2013 as a Senior Costs Drafts person in Mills & Reeve’s Legal Services Team, where he was responsible for overseeing and supervising the litigation work undertaken by the Legal Services Team for Mills & Reeve’s Insurance Disputes and Commercial Disputes teams. Chris has developed the firm’s specialism in dealing with costs budgeting and costs assessment in civil matters, and has appeared in the district registries of the High Court and the Employment Tribunal as the advocate in costs disputes.

By attending this event, delegates will be able to:

  • recap the main provisions of the Insurance Act
  • learn about developments related to the Insurance Act, and particularly the Enterprise Act; and
  • review recent cases of interest to the insurance industry.
