About the session:
The FCA has significantly increased the number of cases under investigation over the past few years. This webinar will cover, how a claim is transferred into enforcement, what to expect if a matter is transferred into the FCA’s enforcement division, the FCA’s powers and the FCA’s decision process.
The session will be run by Clare O'Sullivan and will cover the following learning objectives:
- When will a matter be transferred into the enforcement division?
- FCA's investigation powers
- What to expect during the investigation process.
- FCA interviews
- Penalties and sanctions
- The FCA’s decision process.
About the speaker:
The seminar will be presented by Clare O'Sullivan from RDP Law. Clare is a senior associate solicitor in the litigation team specialising in financial services and regulatory disputes. Prior to that, she was an associate solicitor at Clarke Willmott and an associate at the FSA's (now the FCA ) enforcement team.
