Annual Quiz 2023
It's time to have some fun - together! The institute's Young Professionals are hosting their Annual Quiz in May at The Breakfast Club, Chelmsford and invite you to join in. Bring friends, family, colleagues, the more the merrier! Tickets price is £16 per person and will include buffet food (please let us know of any food allergies), with drinks to be purchased separately. Prizes available for the winning team and a charity raffle to be held on the night! Teams of 4-7 people.

We are excited to announce that we have joined forces with our local institutes to bring you monthly sessions to Enable Womens Careers. This is the first of our joint sessions where Caroline will design and facilitate collaborative sessions on a monthly basis. These sessions will not be recorded as we aim to create a safe space for members to express themselves and grow as the months progress. Futre topics will be determined by the members each month. These sessions are for all levels for PFS and CII.

Consumer Duty Toolkit - 2 Part Series
This is a 2 part series and so attendees will need to make sure they can attend both sessions. 2 sessions of 1.5 hours CPD each 25/04/2023 at 11.30 - 12:30 27/04/2023 at 11:30 - 12:30 Two key pillars of the new Consumer Duty are consumer understanding and consumer support. With a move towards outcomes-based regulation, the need for a skills toolkit to stay on the right side of the regulation is critically important. During this session, you will learn skills based around: ➢ working in an outcomes-based regulatory environment ➢ communicating in a way that aids accessibility and understanding ➢ checking understanding to facilitate informed decision-making ➢ recognising and handling behavioural biases throughout the customer journey ➢ recognising and dealing with vulnerable customers The session is interactive and includes exercises and simulations that will help you practise the skills learnt and how to evidence outcomes. It is aimed at those working within the UK insurance and financial services industry.
