2020 INSURANCE INSTITUTE OF CHELTENHAM AND GLOUCESTER AGM

Thursday, 30 April 2020
12:30 pm – 1:30 pm (UK time)

Venue – Conference call dial in. Format and number to be confirmed

Clearly this year's event will be very different to past meetings and with the current pandemic causing travel and group restrictions, it will be held via a conference call and all members will have the opportunity to listen and take part.

Although our constitutions state that members need to attend your AGM in person,we need to be pragmatic and accept that this is an exceptional circumstance. I am sure we will have your support.

Please do raise any concerns you have though. Full minutes will also be made available on our website for the very first time. All members are welcome to attend the meeting where the Officers will present their reports for the previous year and the Council for 2020-21 year will be elected.

Enhance your career,do the right thing and join the IIC&G Council

Members who are interested in joining the IIC&G Council are more than welcome to nominate themselves for election at the AGM.

Nominations for any Council or Officer position should be made at least 10 days prior to the AGM

The current Council is made up of professionals from across the Insurance, Risk Management and Financial Services industry who volunteer their time and support to provide services to nearly 2000 members living or working locally. As well as supporting local CII members, joining council brings with it personal benefits including the opportunity to network with senior figures from the industry, develop your own personal skills and raise your profile within the local market.

Whether you are interested in helping the institute run CPD events, social activities or any other type of member services, you are more than welcome to become part of the team. If you would like to be considered for nomination for any Council position please contact Chris Worgan, Secretary IIC&G at christopher.worgan@pro-global.com

Best wishes,

The Insurance Institute of Cheltenham & Gloucester
