In April 2020 the Supreme Court delivered its judgment in Various Claimants v Morrisons Supermarkets. The Supreme Court applied certain tests in that case which, when applied to the current hybrid work situation, higher use of social media by employees and increased operational risks around data protection, create a legal minefield.
