Learning objective

You will gain a further understanding of the importance of planning for the future using a legal framework to help families pass on their estate to their beneficiaries to help avoid any dispute.

Speakers

1) Chelsey Bayliss, Solicitor, Linder Meyers Solicitors

Qualifying in 2013, Chelsey leads Linder Myers’ Chester office family department. Chelsey is a member of Resolution and specialises principally in all areas of family law, including complex financial matters arising out of a marriage or relationship breakdown, pre/post-nuptial and cohabitation agreements and children matters. Chelsey’s work also encompasses unmarried separation and the appropriate division of property. Chelsey has previously dealt with applications for leave to remove a child from the jurisdiction and applications for removal of life support systems

2) Faye Kelshaw, Solicitor, Linder Meyers Solicitors

Faye qualified as a Solicitor in 2014 and joined the Trusts and Estates Team in Linder Myers in September 2020. Faye advises on all aspects of private client work including wills, estate planning, powers of attorney, estate administration and trusts. Faye also has a keen interest in mental capacity and Court of Protection work in which she has extensive experience in acting for attorneys and deputies.

Faye prides herself on providing peace of mind for her clients; whether that is preparing a will that accurately reflects specific wishes, discussing asset preservation measures, or administering a loved one’s estate.
