An event exploring issues relating to forensic engineering, the methods utilised around claims and incident investigation, and how these feed into risk analysis.

Learning objectives

By attending this seminar, members will gain an understanding about:

1. The type of incident where engineering skills can be of significant assistance
2. The methods utilised around claims and incident investigation relating to forensic risk.

The seminar will be delivered by Danny Pointon a Partner at Burgoynes, a company which has been involved in accident investigations for over 45 years.

A graduate of Cambridge University and now based in Glasgow, Danny has specialised in the investigation of engineering failures which has seen him travel the globe to investigate incidents on both land and sea.

He has lectured on fire investigation techniques to various Police Forces and Fire Brigades within the UK and further afield.
