Cyber Risks include hacking attacks, data protection breaches and industrial espionage in today's modern businesses.

Learning objectives

By attending this event members will understand:

1. The potential risks and liabilities
2. How businesses can insure against potential cyber risks
3. What the compliance obligations incumbent upon businesses and individuals are
4. What practical steps businesses can take to protect themselves from cyber crime

The event will be delivered by Alisdair Matheson from Brodies.

Alisdair has extensive experience in resolving disputes in the commercial sphere in rapid and cost effective ways including the use of alternative dispute resolution. He is one of the only two people in Scotland dually accredited in both Professional Negligence and Construction law by The Law Society of Scotland. He is also accredited in commercial litigation by the WS Society, one of the country's most historic and respected legal organisations.
