The Insurance Society of Edinburgh is happy to announce that their next technical CPD event will focus on the evolution of crime insurance and the fraud landscape.

Learning objectives

By attending this event delegates will be able to identify:
• The basics of crime insurance
• Claims stories – it will happen
• New forms of fraud such as ‘social engineering’; ‘fund diversion’ and ‘whaling’
• Pitfalls of policy conditions
• Why Crime insurance should form part of the professional advice we offer.

The seminar will be delivered by Craig Watson from RSA.

Craig Watson, ACII, Chartered Insurer has 30 years’ experience in insurance, of which the past 20 years have been spent working in financial risks covering directors and officers, commercial crime, FG, charity and non-profit products. Craig’s current role encompasses the growth and development of financial risks covers for RSA’s office network outside of the square mile. This involves underwriting strategy and delivery, product development, marketing, and education on these products.
